What makes it a medical manicure?

The manicure is performed by a highly trained, medically accredited professional using medical instruments and medical grade products. The treatment sessions are personalized, one-on-one, starting with nail diagnosis and choosing the best suitable treatment option accordingly. Any medical issues or concerns will be addressed and can be treated if needed. The specialist wears gloves, mask and/or shield to protect the client and herself. Between the appointments all medical instruments are sterilized, the working area has been sanitized including the desk, chair(s) and the floor is disinfected. The one-time use items are all disposed after each use. Towels are replaced between appointments and are washed with high temperature and non-harmful antibacterial solutions. Clients are required to wash their hands upon entry before treatments.

At Hand&Foot Aesthetic Clinic we focus on the people's health & well-being. Our priority is the health of hands, feet, skin and nails before the cosmetic approach. We treat damaged and brittle nails, nail psoriasis, infections and warts if needed after a thorough examination is completed. You can book a classic manicure (optionally) adding a doctors made nourishing nail polish or choose a medical grade gel polish manicure instead. They both are medically accredited and approved, recommended by doctors, non-toxic, vegan and nourishing treatments. Alternatively, for those who's nails need more nutrients we strongly advise to start with the Japanese Nutritious Nail Therapy.

We use the world first medically approved and ISO certified gel polish . This revolutionary product was designed specifically with nail health and safety in mind. It is the first medical grade formulation and oxygenating gel technology that helps the nail to "breath" while preventing dehydration and softening of keratin. It contains Vitamin A&E to keep the nails healthy and nourished and does not contain any solvents or dehydrating primers or bonders. 100% Vegan System. During the application we additionally use Ginseng Root Extract and Vitamin B for extra care.

How does the oxygenating technology work? A balance of Oxygen and moisture is essential for healthy nails. The oxygenating base that we use, has a unique microscopic structure that has been specifically designed to mimic the natural process of moisture movements. This movement allows oxygen and water vapour to freely move to and from the nail plate, and helps the nail retain a balanced level of moisture and improved level of health.
