Paraffin wax has cosmetic and therapeutic benefits so it is often used in skin-softening salons and spa treatments on the hands, cuticles, and feet but it can also be used to provide pain relief to sore joints and muscles.

Cosmetic benefits

Cosmetically being applied to the hands and feet the paraffin wax is a natural emollient making skin supple and soft. It adds moisture and continues to boost the moisture levels of the skin after the treatment is complete. It also helps to open pores and remove dead skin cells. The skin looks fresher and feel smoother instant.

It acts like a form of heat therapy and can help increase blood flow, relax muscles, and decrease joint stiffness. Paraffin wax can also minimize muscle spasms and inflammation as well as treat sprains. 

Process involves submerging area in the medical grade warm wax before letting it to absorb for 15 mins. It is completely natural however, if you have very sensitive skin it may cause heat rash. You should not use paraffin wax if you have poor blood circulation, diabetes or open sores. To make sure that the procedure is safe and hygienic we do not reuse the wax.
