Nails are like an extension of our skin. Under certain conditions, they will absorb chemicals and water. We use them every day and they get damaged easily specially when you lack of vitamins. So what to do when you want to have evenly long and shaped yet natural nails without damaging them?

Synthetic resin was implemented for medical purposes 30 year ago simply to improve any nail deformations caused by trauma. We use it a lot in the podiatry industry to restore toes but also commonly used to improve finger nails due to its natural look, durable and non-toxic characteristics.

Benefits of synthetic resin:

  • Hypoallergenic

  • Less damaging to the nail in case of trauma

  • Odorless

  • Safe during pregnancy

  • Can be worn with nail polish or leave it clear for a very natural look

  • Long-lasting protection to your natural nails

Why to use synthetic resin over Acrylic and SNS? Acrylic and SNS are not meant to strengthen your natural nails, in fact they will damage your nails. Acrylic and SNS has the same formula Benzoyl Peroxide and Ethyl-2-Cyanoacrylate (the main ingredient of Super glue), they give your nails a glossy finish, sometimes length but when it comes to removal damaged and weak nails is the result. Especially when the application is repeated with no break in between.

The main difference in our synthetic resin is the formula itself. It is very light and more natural, but also the fact that it is process of one application. To maintain it should be refilled every 3-4 weeks depending on how quick your nails grow. As the resin is applied to the whole natural nail surface the filing will be done only where there is growth. No damage to your nails as the rest is covered from the previous application. Synthetic resin can not be removed by soaking in acetone, it needs to be filed off if required however can be worn for years with no hygienic problems when applied by a professional hand care specialist.

Synthetic resin comes in clear or blush colour and looks natural when applied. Has a bit of glossy finish but if you are looking to have some extra colour or gloss you can apply regular nail polish as usually or even shellac.

We offer OPI GelColor no.1 leading Shellac to those who wants colour that lasts. It dries immidiately and lasts up to 3-4 weeks. It is applied in three separate parts: a base coat, your choice of colour and a shiny top coat that makes nails extra durable. Nails are cured under a LED light for 30 seconds after each coat is applied. Removing the polish is a simple soak-off for non-damaging results.

OPI GelColor is available exclusively through nail salons and used by professionals. Start enjoying longer lasting shine without damage and request an application with your next salon manicure.
